Parseword Unlimited doesn’t require an account, doesn’t ask you for any personal information, and doesn’t use cookies or analytics to track you. The only thing saved is a small set of display preferences, stored solely on your own device.
There is no sign-up, login, or account system. We don’t collect your name, email address, or any other personal information, and we don’t sell or share data, because we don’t have any to sell or share.
Your Sound, Dark Theme, Colorblind Mode, and Game Mode (Learn/Play/Challenge) settings are saved using your browser’s localStorage, under a single key, so your preferences are remembered the next time you visit. This data stays on your device — it is never sent to us or to any server. Clearing your browser’s site data will reset it to the defaults.
When you click a puzzle tile to see word options, your browser sends a request directly to the Datamuse API (a free, public word-lookup service) to fetch synonym and word-sound data for that lookup. That request is made by your browser, not routed through us, so standard technical information (like your IP address) is visible to Datamuse the same way it would be for any site you visit directly. We don’t control Datamuse’s own data practices — see their site for details. No puzzle content or personal information is sent to Datamuse beyond the single word or phrase being looked up.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information for security and performance purposes (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps). We don’t use this information for tracking or advertising.
This site doesn’t use cookies for tracking, doesn’t run ads, and doesn’t embed any third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
Parseword Unlimited is a general-audience word game and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since no personal information is collected from any visitor in the first place.
If what this site collects or how it works ever changes, this page will be updated to reflect that.
